 Kurtz Detective Agency*

Company anniversary as an indicator of experience and quality: 10 years Kurtz Detective Agency in 2023

The investigative activities of our experienced detectives in Russia include the clarification of personal and corporate matters as well as criminally relevant offences. Through an excellent network of contacts in most countries of the former Eastern Bloc, Kurtz Detective Agency in Russia can rely on dependable local investigators who act on your behalf under the control of our quality standards and thus under our responsibility. Please note that due to the enormous size and low population density of Russia, our network is limited to more densely populated areas, meaning that long travel distances may occur in rural regions, particularly in the Asian part.

Pompous dimensions, prosaic problems | Private detective agency for Russia

The largest country in the world by area is home to 144.3 million people (as of 2016) and extends across two continents – Asia and Europe. The largest and at the same time most important cities are the current capital Moscow (12.2 million inhabitants; 2017) and the former capital St. Petersburg, whose city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kremlin, Red Square and Gorky Park in the capital as well as the Hermitage, the Peter and Paul Fortress and the Smolny Cathedral in St. Petersburg are among the preferred locations visited by our mostly non-Russian target persons in Russia, with the number of business travellers being significantly higher than that of holiday tourists.

The private investigators of our detective agency in Russia are naturally available not only in the major cities of the federation but likewise in rural to remote regions. The most frequently recurring basis for assignments is suspicion of infidelity in marriage or partnership. However, we also conduct research and surveillance in maintenance disputes where income or assets are suspected of being concealed, review the contact of an ex-partner with the child in cases of custody concerns or carry out address investigations. Our qualified private detectives for Russia provide you with investigation results documented in a manner admissible in court. We will gladly inform contact form or contact us by telephone using the number given above.

International partial isolation | Commercial investigations in Russia

The Russian Federation is a founding member of the Eurasian Economic Union, an organisation at least in concept similar to the EU. Due to falling oil prices, the decline of the rouble and the sanctions imposed primarily by the USA and Germany because of alleged geopolitical violations by Russia, the economic strength of the federation declined in 2015 and 2016 and the inflation rate rose. In 2015 the GDP amounted to 1.36 trillion US dollars, whereas only one year earlier 2.06 trillion dollars had been recorded. It was only in 2017 that the economy slowly recovered to its previous level. Unfortunately, the western view of Russia is often extremely one-sided, concealing much, misinterpreting developments and quickly passing judgement without critically questioning its own role. For example, it is hardly known in the West that after the collapse of the Soviet Union Russia suffered severe poverty for many years. Life expectancy fell dramatically – in the mid-1990s men had an average life expectancy of only 58 years – and industrial production did not reach the level of 1991 again until Putin’s second term in office. Today the extraction and processing of significant natural resources, including metals, coal, ore, copper, platinum, gold, diamonds, crude oil and natural gas, form a large part of the Russian economy. Other important economic sectors include the automotive and aviation industries, mechanical engineering, iron and metal processing and the timber and food industries.

Amid this complex economy, our commercial detectives in Russia investigate on behalf of clients from within the country and abroad. In addition to offences committed by outsiders, for example sabotage, espionage and transport crime, it is primarily acts initiated and or carried out by employees themselves that damage companies. Above all, sick leave fraud, working time fraud and expense fraud are among the most frequent offences committed against employers. In addition, there are cases of bribery for the unlawful disclosure of internal company information. Espionage and sabotage in particular can be committed both by Russian companies against our western clients – thus requiring professional clarification – and vice versa. In these and many other matters our commercial detective agency for Russia will gladly accept your assignment at any time: +49 30 5557 8641-0.
